New
The Current Layer number can now be typed in directly:
- In Manual layer mode, the Current Layer number is now an editable text box instead of a static readout — type a layer number directly instead of stepping to it
- The Current Layer text box is locked while in Auto mode, since the layer is calculated automatically
Placement Size lock, and two new 3D templates:
- Added a padlock button under Placement Size — lock it to chain X, Y and Z together (equalizing all three to whichever is currently highest, then keeping them matched as you adjust any one of them)
- The padlock now locks automatically when a 3D template is selected and unlocks automatically when one is deselected, replacing the old always-on chaining for Sphere/Pyramid — unlock it by hand while a 3D template is active to stretch that template non-uniformly
- Added Cube and Cylinder 3D templates, alongside Sphere and Pyramid
- Reordered the 3D template row to Cube, Sphere, Cylinder, Pyramid
Fix
- Fixed tinted materials visually reverting to Wooden Wall when a build was loaded, either through manual JSON import or autosave restore
- Fixed the Paint tool aborting an entire paint area if it contained a shape the selected material couldn't be applied to — it now paints every matching shape in the area and ignores the rest, instead of cancelling the whole action
- Fixed hidden layers in the Layers & Blueprint Reveal panel still blocking placement, painting, erasing, and other tool interactions in the empty space they occupy — hidden layers are now fully off-limits to every tool until revealed again, rather than being treated as if the hidden shapes were still there

New
Installable app support, Discord community link, and more:
- Buildopia can now be added to your Home Screen on iOS/Android and launches full-screen like a native app
- Added app icon, manifest, and offline caching via a service worker
- Website icon embed added
- Discord community link added to the top bar, with a confirmation dialog before leaving the app
- Added additional keyboard shortcuts
- Added a Pan mode to the camera/draw mode toggle — drag to move the camera without rotating it
Fix
- Fixed the toolbar and layer panel overlapping the status bar in standalone mode
- Fixed an issue where the site would not load correctly when saved/installed as a Web App
- Fixed hidden SEO text becoming visible on some devices when rotating to landscape
- Fixed a major bug affecting image exporting
- Fixed a blank white bar appearing over the 3D viewport on first load, which previously only cleared once the sidebar was toggled
- Fixed the bottom safe-area padding on installed devices taking up far more space than needed, cropping the sidebar's content
- Fixed the second viewport spawning behind the top bar — it now always opens bottom-centred in the main viewport
Improved
- Reworked how block materials are loaded — textures are now referenced as separate image files instead of being embedded directly in the page, reducing page size and improving load times
- Reworked the camera/draw mode toggle: the camera icon now shows a rotate glyph, and the second-viewport shortcut in that row has been replaced with the new Pan mode button (the main "2nd View" button in the top bar still opens the second viewport)
